Skincare Favorites from the Sephora Sale

It's that time of year - the Sephora VIB/Rouge/Insider sale! I used to go CRAZY over this sale, I'm not going to lie. I've settled down on my makeup obsession the last few years, because #momlife. I just don't have the "energy" to play with makeup and do a so called full glam very often. Like, ever, actually. And I'm fine with that!

While I don't go crazy over makeup anymore, I do go crazy over skincare. Is that what happens when you start approaching 30? I've become a skincare junkie and I cannot get enough delicious products on my face. That being said, I've tried A LOT of skincare products over the years. I've also had some legitimate skincare issues that have taken a lot of trial and error to clear up. When I stopped taking hormonal birth control 4 years ago, my skin FREAKED OUT. I got really bad hormonal acne, I went from being oily to being grossly dry, and my pores are more visible than ever. So keep in mind, these products worked really well for me, and I cannot guarantee they will for you too, but I think that they're worth a try while they're on sale!

So, I rounded up my top 10 favorite items from Sephora and I'll let y'all know why I love each one.

1. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

This is a well-known moisturizer, and probably FAB's top product. And for good reason! This tub is such a great value (if you're using it for face/neck, not body) and a little bit goes such a long way. It's thick, creamy, and super hydrating. I have no plans to take this out of my skincare routine.

2. First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer

Another amazing FAB product is this guy. I love just about anything coconut, and this moisturizer does not disappoint! It's lightweight and perfect for the daytime, primes for makeup, and makes the skin feel amazing.

3. Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins

This was my ride or die night cream for probably 2 years straight. It smells incredible, always make my skin plump and smooth, and you don't need a lot to get the job done. It's SO GOOD.

4. Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm

If you're looking for a super easy and effective way to take off your makeup, look no further. I've used this cleansing balm on and off for several years and I really do love it. I love that it takes off my makeup quickly with minimal rubbing, and it washes off well without leaving my skin oily.

5. Fresh Rose Face Mask

This is definitely a splurge product (for me anyway), but it's SO amazing. You don't need a lot to get the effects of it, and it really does make your skin feel hydrated and refreshed. Next time you treat yourself to an at-home spa night, make this one of your treats. You won't regret it.

6. Tatcha The Deep Cleanse Cleanser

This is a newer product for me. I got the trial size of this and the Water Cream, and I was really impressed! A little bit goes a long way, and it exfoliates in the most gentle way. It's by far the most gentle exfoliating cleanser I've ever used. I have no complaints and I'll continue using this as part of my routine.

7. Tatcha The Water Cream

Again, this is a newer product to me, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. The first couple of times I thought it was a little overrated and not super effective, but the more I used it, the more I loved it. It's super lightweight, and while it feels like it might be too "watery," it does a really good job of hydrating the skin. I love that it's not heavy to wear under makeup!

8. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

Get it here: https://rstyle.me/+bQDYEQP4VPZWBs4nidjLZQ

I started using this at a time when I was having BAD hormonal acne, after stopping birth control. I can't attribute my acne clearing up 100% to this product, but it was part of my routine and I KNOW it helped. It's concentrated and not filled with anything unnecessary, and the price point is just incredible.

9. Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 47

Get it here: https://rstyle.me/+pxLBJoZydedtZhYK42hhvg

I used to LOVE this product. It was my daily go-to, makeup on top or not. We all know the Josie Maran Argan products are amazing, and this is no exception. It hydrates the skin, it's a clean product, and it gives great sun protection. It's the perfect base for everyday.

10. Clinique Moisture Surge

Get it here: https://rstyle.me/+IPYsd2RpNr7QBtu9xNzDbA

This bad boy surprised me a lot. It's way more hydrating than I anticipated! Although Clinique is a great brand, this product in particular makes me feel like I'm using a very high end moisturizer. It's great for overnight - you'll wake up with plump, baby soft skin.

I hope that y'all find some of these recommendations helpful! I've tried so many skincare products, and I can truly say that (for my skin), these are all amazing and worth the money. Let me know what you snag at the Sephora sale!
